This cookie policy explains which cookies SERBAN DC GmbH, Bremer Str. 11, 80807 Munich, Germany ("we"), uses on the website serbandc.com, on which legal basis, and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent. Further information on how we process personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They make it possible to recognise your device on a return visit, to remember settings, or to analyse how the website is used. Comparable technologies (e.g. local storage) are treated under the same legal standard.
2. Consent and legal bases
Storing information on your device and accessing it are governed by Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG):
- Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the website and do not require consent (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Any subsequent data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a functioning website).
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only with your prior, voluntary consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent no analytics scripts are loaded — not even the Google tag itself.
- Marketing cookies (Google Ads; Meta: Facebook and Instagram) may likewise be used only with your prior, voluntary consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent no marketing scripts are loaded and no marketing cookies are set.
On your first visit our cookie notice shows the equally weighted buttons "Options", "Reject" and "Accept". "Options" opens the "Privacy Preferences" panel with the categories "Essential" (always on), "Analytics" and "Marketing", where you can decide with "Save Options", "Reject All" or "Accept All". Your decision is stored for one year in the ck_consent_v2 cookie.

4. Google Analytics
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-J3SP341KDQ), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The Google script is technically loaded only after you have given your consent. IP anonymisation is active; your IP address is truncated by Google within the EU/EEA before further processing.
Where data is transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) of 10 July 2023, under which Google is certified; standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) apply as an additional safeguard.
You can additionally prevent collection by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Further information: Google's privacy policy.
5. Marketing — Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram)
Only with your consent to the "Marketing" category may we use Google Ads (ad conversion measurement) provided by Google Ireland Limited and the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland ("Meta"), for our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Without your consent, no request is sent to these services and no marketing cookies (_gcl_au, _fbp, _fbc) are set. Where we use the Meta Pixel, we are jointly responsible with Meta for the collection and transmission of the data to Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). Transfers to Google LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA are based on the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified. 6. Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your selection or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To do so, open the Cookie Preferences — the link is also available in the footer of every page. If you switch off or reject a category, we delete the related cookies from our domain (Analytics: _ga, _ga_*; Marketing: _gcl_au, _fbp, _fbc). The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
